PRO and hosting
What holding $ALPHA unlocks, how much you need, how holdings are checked, and what happens if your balance drops.
$ALPHA is a membership token. Holding it in a verified wallet gives access. There are no subscriptions, nothing is ever charged to your wallet, and ALPHA Network never takes custody of your tokens. All amounts below are defaults.

Hosting a group also opens the full in-depth guides, even without PRO.
Check your status with /pro, the PRO card in Settings on the website, or the Profile tab in the Mini App.
Other ways PRO can be active#
- Open to everyone. Before the token-gated launch, the team can open PRO to all. The bot says "PRO is open to everyone right now".
- Granted by the team. The team can grant PRO for a set time. The bot shows "Granted by the team" and the end date.
Hosting tiers#
Hold a tier to run the bot in your own Telegram groups:

Your tier is the highest one your balance reaches. Groups that are live, in their grace period or waiting for /claim all count toward your limit. To host more, hold the next tier and tap 🔄 Refresh balance in /host.
When hosting is "open access", any group admin can host and there is no group limit.

How holdings are checked#
- Your balance is read directly from Solana by our servers, never from your browser.
- It is re-checked automatically every 6 hours. Tap Refresh balance to check right away.
- Only your main verified wallet counts. Verifying a new wallet makes it your main wallet.
If your balance drops#
PRO#
- On the next check, PRO enters a grace period of 24 hours, and the bot messages you.
- During the grace period PRO keeps working. The bot shows "🟠 Grace period" and when it ends.
- Top up before it ends and PRO stays active. Otherwise PRO ends, and the bot tells you how much to hold to get it back.
Hosting#
- On the next check, the group enters a grace period of 24 hours and you get a warning.
- If you don't top up in time, the group becomes restricted: new calls pause. All history is kept.
- Top up and the group is restored automatically on the next check, with a post in the group.
Group statuses#

| Waiting for /claim (pending) | The bot is in the group but nobody has activated it, or it was released |
| Restricted | The host no longer holds the tier. New calls are paused |
| Suspended | Stopped by ALPHA Network moderators |
| Bot removed | The bot was removed from the group |
