Calls and tracking

What counts as a call, who gets the credit, how each call is followed, and when it starts to count.

What a call is#

A call is a recorded token pick: who called it, which token, when, and at what price and market cap. These are captured from live market data the moment the call is made and can never be edited.

A call is made in one of these ways:

Source How Shown as
Contract post A member posts a contract address or a DEX Screener, pump.fun or similar link in a hosted group "CA drop"
Rick or Phanes Rick or Phanes replies to a member's message with a token card. The call goes to that member "via Rick" / "via Phanes"
Inline scan A member posts a Rick or Phanes inline result in the group "via Rick" / "via Phanes"
/call The command, in a group or in private "/call"
Website or Mini App Record a call on your dashboard or a token page, or Scan or call a token in the Mini App "web" / "mini app"

Good to know:

  • One message can contain up to 3 addresses. Each one that is a real, tradable token becomes a call. Wallet addresses and common base tokens (like SOL, USDC or WETH) are ignored.
  • ALPHA Network reads Solana addresses and EVM-style addresses that start with 0x.
  • Calls made in your private chat, on the website or in the Mini App belong to you, but not to any group. Only calls made in a hosted group count for that group.
  • Edited messages never become calls, and a message older than 3 minutes can't become one. There are no backdated calls.
